Hey Gals and Guys! For my first post I though I’d introduce myself through my M.O.R essentials. In essence these are five fashion items that I absolutely could not live without!
I think you can tell a lot about someone from the clothes and accessories that they hold as staples, so here are mine…
1. Topshop jeans – I read an article the other day which stated that Topshop’s Jamie jeans have become a cult item due to their massive ‘following’. I am yet to be converted to this style as Topshop’s Leigh Jean is the one for me. Super soft, skinny, legging style elasticated denim which feels as comfortable as wearing tights yet does up with a zip fly and button. These jeans are perfection!
2. Fur scarf– Opulence and lavishness are two key words of mine which my trusty fur scarf helps me to achieve even with everyday looks. My scarf (bought from Asos around a year ago) comes with me on every journey to the outside world. It instantly transforms any dull outfit and can be worn on days when a coat isn’t always necessary but its still chilly.
3. Gold necklace (any) – I’ve chosen to illustrate this post with an image of my gold New look spiked necklace but I could have chosen any from my collection! I feel that necklaces really make an outfit as they catch the light and help to draw attention to what you have pulled together from your wardrobe. Plus being a total magpie I love a bit of sparkle!
4. Black ankle boots– Two words; Parisian Chic. When I wear my boots I instantly feel like I’m strutting down a cobbled French avenue on my way to eat some macaroons… just me?
5. Iphone– I know this doesn’t entirely fit the category of accessories however these days with so many fabulously designed iphone cases the smartphone has become a technological accessory (at least for me) that enables you to showcase some of your personality. My iphone is currently wrapped in pink and will hopefully soon have a neon pink bumper so I will stop losing it in my bag… or a Marc Jacobs case if anyone is kind enough to buy me one!
